CMA General Director addresses a letter to all clients in regards to CMA policy and transition requirements and processes to the new version of ISO 9001.

CMA will be recommending clients to transition to ISO 9001:2015 at their recertification audit if possible. Clients that transition at recertification time will not incur additional audit time. Clients may choose to transition at a surveillance audit or at a special audit at any time during the audit cycle. Additional audit time will be required to cover the review of changes to the quality management system. The additional time would be dependent on the size of the organization.

All certificates issued to ISO 9001:2008 after September 15, 2015 will expire on September 15, 2018. Once an upgrade audit has occurred the expiration date will be modified to reflect a three year certificate.
In order to support our clients in making the transition easier, we attached the Comparison between ISO 9001: 2008 vs. ISO 9001:2015  and Transition Checklist, a document that clients shall present to CMA before scheduled transition audit.
If you have questions about the new revision or the transition process, feel free to contact CMA.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row height=”small”][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
