AS9100, AS9110 and AS9120 are specific international standards for the Aviation, Space and Defense Industry. ISO 9001 is the quality management system on which AS9100 is based. ISO 9001 was changed to ISO 9001:2015 and, based on that, all AS 91XX were upgraded accordingly.<\/p>\n
Actually all three Standards were upgraded to a highest Revision in 2016 based on the ISO 9001:2015 plus additional Aviation, Space and Defense Industry requirements.<\/p>\n
* All organizations currently certified to AS9100\/9110\/9120 will be required to successfully transition to the new versions by September 14, 2018.<\/p>\n
* Furthermore, all audits conducted after June 15, 2017 will be to the 2016 version of these standards.<\/p>\n
CMA Quality International issued a process for clients\u2019 transition to the new revision of the standard.<\/p>\n
